 How do you find the organization of the 2016 Turkish İs Bank Super Chess League?I think the league is getting better each year. In general, the organization is very good. In Turkey, organizations are always great, always good. We Azerbaijanis and Turks have the same food, same language that’s why we love being here.
What is the best organization you have ever participated?
Last year’s Shamkir Super Tournament.
How did you start your chess career?
I started playing chess when 7 years old at school.
What’s best game you have ever played? / Do you have a memorable game?
My game against Fabiano Caruana this year in Shamkir. Even though I lost the game, I really like it.
Who is your favourite chess player?
Mikhail Tal.
In which foreign chess leagues do you play?
I played in Azerbaijan, Spain, Macedonia, but now I only play in Turkey.
Do you support a team (football, basketball etc.)? Which team?
I love football. I support Manchester United among teams from England.
What is your chess training routine?
I don’t have a training routine, sometimes I don’t even train.
Is there anything you learned from chess that comes in handy in real life?
There are many things. I really need to put what I learned from chess in practice but I can’t.
What are your hobbies?
I like watching football matches and following history and biographies.
